Final Round of Butler Spring Invitational Canceled; CSU Finishes 2nd

AVON, Ind. - Cleveland State has finished as the runner-up at the Butler Spring Invitational after Tuesday's final round was canceled due to snow and cold weather at the par 71, 6,085-yard Prestwick C.C.

The Vikings carded an opening round 314 on Monday and finished tied for second place with Chicago State, just one shot behind team champion Butler.

It is the second consecutive runner-up finish this spring for CSU after the Vikings also finished second at the Benbow Invitational in Florida on March 10-11.

Senior Shelly Ford shared medalist honors with a three-over-par 74.
