CHICAGO (AP) -- Josh Mayo scored a game-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Illinois-Chicago to a come-from-behind 74-68 win over Cleveland State on Thursday night.
Scott Vandermeer added 14 points and five blocked shots and Karl White Jr. had 11 points for Illinois-Chicago (11-10, 5-5 Horizon League).
The Flames trailed 31-27 at the half but went ahead on a 12-2 run in the first six minutes of the second half. Illinois-Chicago hit 23-of-37 free throws, compared with 11-of-18 for Cleveland State (14-8, 7-3).
Joe Davis led Cleveland State with 27 points. Cedric Jackson added eight points and 10 rebounds for the Vikings.
