Zahoransky (1984-88) was one of the top grapplers in CSU history, posting a 73-36-1 career record and qualifying for the NCAA national tournament three times. He earned All-American honors in 1986 and 1988, finishing eighth at nationals both years and was also CSU's Most Outstanding Wrestler both seasons. Zahoransky is the only wrestler in CSU history to qualify for the NCAA Championships in three different weight classes, qualifying in the 134, 142, and 150 weight classes.
