2011-12 - JUNIOR SEASON
Won six bouts while competing at 149 pounds...Opened the season with a 5-4 victory over his opponent from The Citadel at the Wrestle for a Cure Duals (Nov. 12)...Earned a tech fall victory against Cumberland at the Northern Illinois Quad Meet (Dec. 21)...Picked up a victory on an 8-4 decision at the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1)...Took two of three bouts at the George Mason Patriot Duals (Jan. 14), beating his opponent from George Mason 7-1 before finishing with a 10-6 win in the dual against VMI...Earned a major decision victory at the National Collegiate Open (Feb. 26) when he beat his opponent from North Carolina.

2010-11 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Wrestled in open tournaments...won three bouts at 149 pounds at the CSU Open...earned a 15-0 technical fall and two decisions at CSU Open.

2009-10 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Had a strong freshman season, winning eight matches and becoming a consistent starter at 141...one of two Vikings to record victories against Bloomsburg...earned a 7-1 decision against Northwestern...won via 21-5 technical fall vs. West Virginia...ended the year with a fifth place finish in the 141 pound division at the EWL Championship.

2008-09 - REDSHIRT SEASON
Took the season as a redshirt to maintain a season of eligibility.

HIGH SCHOOL
Finished third in the state of Ohio as a senior at the state championships...is the all-time wins leader in Twinsburg High history.

Born Sept. 28, 1989 in Twinsburg, Ohio...son of John and Mary Mencini...has two older brothers, Gabe and Anthony...sports management major.
