2021 – JUNIOR SEASON
Earned Academic All-League recognition…Started all 17 games in the midfield for the Vikings…Boasted two goals and two assists for six points…Registered 17 shots with nine on frame…Scored the game-winning goal at Detroit Mercy on Sept. 19.

2021 (Spring) – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Named to the Horizon League First Team…Started all ten games for the Vikings during the spring season…Tallied 12 points, second-most on the team…Accumulated four goals (tied for second-most) and a team-best four assists…Recorded a team-high 29 shots, including 15 on goal…Scored her first goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Wright State on Feb. 10…Named #HLWSOC Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 19.

PRE-CSU
Saw action in all 21 games for the Ohio University Bobcats during the 2019 campaign, making seven starts...notched five goals (tied for second-most on the team) and recorded four assists (fourth-best on the team), tallying 14 points (third-most on the team)...named to the MAC All-Freshman Team, Young scored her first career goal on August 30 against the Vikings and scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at Northern Illinois on September 27...Three-year letter winner at Saint Ursula Academy...named to First Team GGCL, First Team All-Star and First Team All-City in 2016 and Second Team GGCL and Second Team All-City in 2017 and 2018...during the 2016 season, Young lead the GGCL in goals scored.

Maddie was born on May 16, 2001 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Anne Young and has one older sister, Mackenzie.
