Cleveland State University

Shelby Zoeckler will begin her sixth season as a full-time staff member with the Cleveland State women's basketball team during the 2026-27 campaign, and the fourth as an assistant coach. 

Prior to becoming an assistant coach, Zoeckler served as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Vikings during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. 

Zoeckler, who holds a health science undergraduate degree and an exercise science graduate degree from Cleveland State University, has been a large part of the Vikings’ success over the last few years, helping CSU capture the 2021 WBI championship, 2023 Horizon League Tournament title and the 2023-24 Horizon League Regular Season championship.

Since Zoeckler has been a part of the CSU staff, the Vikings have recorded five 20-win campaigns and earned six postseason bids.
