Shelby Zoeckler will begin her fourth season as a full-time staff member with the Cleveland State women's basketball team during the 2024-25 campaign, and the second as an assistant coach. 

Prior to becoming an assistant coach, Zoeckler served as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Vikings during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. 

Zoeckler, who holds a health science undergraduate degree and an exercise science graduate degree from Cleveland State University, has been a large part of the Vikings’ success over the last few years, helping CSU capture the 2021 WBI championship, 2023 Horizon League Tournament title and last season’s Horizon League Regular Season championship.

Since Zoeckler has been a part of the CSU staff, the Vikings have recorded four 20-win campaigns, advanced to the #HLWBB semifinals five straight years and have made three-straight appearances in the championship game.
