Imani Gordon will begin her second season as a graduate assistant with the Cleveland State women’s basketball team during 2016-17, continuing her role on the coaching staff after spending four years in a Viking uniform.

Gordon recently completed her standout career at CSU, serving as an integral part of the Viking lineup from 2011-2015. The Akron, Ohio native finished her career ranked in the top-10 in the CSU Career Record Book in points (10^th – 1,323), rebounds (8^th – 753), defensive rebounds (3^rd – 510), offensive rebounds (5^th – 243), free throws made (3^rd – 400), and games started (10^th – 94), while earning First Team All-Horizon League honors as a junior and Second Team All-Horizon League accolades as a senior.

Gordon graduated from Cleveland State with a degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.
