Haley Schmitt will begin her first season as a graduateassistant with the Cleveland State women’s basketball teamthis season, transitioning to a staff role after spending fouryears in a Viking uniform.

Schmitt recently completed her four-your career at ClevelandState, serving as an integral part of the Viking lineup from2010-2014. Over her career, Schmitt shot 49-percent from the floor(179-for-364), ranking in the top-10 in field goal percentage amongHorizon League players throughout the years.

Schmitt finished her undergraduate degree in December 2013,double majoring in health sciences and psychology, and is currentlyenrolled in the accelerated nursing program at Cleveland State.
