2024-25 Season (Junior)
-Competed in all ten events with a scoring average of 72.7
-Named to the All-Horizon League Second Team for the second consecutive season
-Recorded five top-20 finishes, including two top ten's and one top five
-Registered his highest finish in the Red Flash Invitational, a tie for fourth
-Finished tied for sixth in the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational after carding a season and career best 64 in the second round

2023-24 Season (Sophomore)
-Named to the All-Horizon League Second Team
-Competed in every event finishing with a 72.4 scoring average
-Recorded five top-20 finishes including two top-five finishes
-Highest finish was a fourth place finish at the Wright State Invitational(4/14-15) where he finished 4-under par for the tournament
-Finished tied for 17th at the Horizon League Championship 

2022-23 Season (Freshman)

-Competed in all but one tournament throughout the fall and spring season
-Finished with a 75.7 scoring average over 30 rounds
-Recorded three top-25 finishes 
-Highest finish was a tie for 11th at the Wright State Invitational(4/16-17) where he finished at 15-over par for the tournament
-Recorded a T-21 finish at the Horizon League Championship

HIGH SCHOOL (ARCHBISHOP ALTER HIGH SCHOOL)

Competed for Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio...Racked up numerous awards with the Knights that included Great Lake Conference Player of the Year (2021), District Player of the Year (2021), First Team Great Lakes Conference (2021) and Second Team Great Lakes Conference (2022) honors...His team was also the Ohio State Runner-Up in both 2021 and 2022...Posted a scoring average of 72.6 in 2021 and recorded a low tournament round of 67...Along with his play for his high school, Simms also compted on the GolfWeek Junior Tour, which features student-athletes between the ages of 16-19...For his career, Simms has posted three top-10 finishes and eight top-25 performances and is ranked 20th overall in the GolfWeek Junior Tour Player of the Year standings for the 2021 campaign...Played on the Archbishop Alter HS golf program for just two seasons...Before his time with the golf squad, Simms played for the Knights football team at quarterback and linebacker before making the full-time switch to golf...Was also a member of the school's volleyball team at both outside hitter and setter for three seasons....Chose Cleveland State because "I was given a great opportunity to continue to play the sport I love and continue my academics as well! CSU is a great university and a school that I seemed to fit in well with."
