Troy Chapman, Golf
Finished T-34 at the Ball State Invite at six-over par, recorded two eagles during his final two rounds.
Aleksandar Kolar, Men's Soccer
Recorded eight saves in the 0-0 draw at Milwaukee, helping to extend Cleveland State's unbeaten streak to four straight games.
Sidney Nicholas, Women's Soccer
Scored for the Vikings in the 1-1 draw at YSU, marking her first goal of the season.
Tristan Stine & Nico Jamison, Men's Tennis
Advanced to the doubles finals of the Horizon League Fall Championship, picking up wins over IU Indy and NIU.
 
 
 
Volleyball
-The Vikings will return home for a two-match series this weekend, hosting Northern Kentucky on Friday and Wright State on Saturday.
-This will be the first #HLVB series for the Vikings inside Woodling Gymnasium this season.
-So far this year, Bryn VanVleet has been averaging 2.84 kills per set, while Julia Jozefov is averaging 0.88 blocks per set.  
Women's Soccer
-The Vikings will open a three-game homestand this week, hosting IU Indy on Thursday and NIU on Sunday.
-Cleveland State currently stands at 1-1-1 in Horizon League play, including a 1-1 draw at Youngstown State last week.
-Sidney Nicholas scored for the Vikings against YSU, while Hayleigh Lewis combined for nine saves through two games on the week.
Men's Soccer
-Cleveland State continues #HLMSOC play at home this week, hosting IU Indy on Saturday.
-The Vikings extended their unbeaten streak to four games after beating St. Bonaventure 2-1 and drawing with Milwaukee 0-0.
-Domenic Ruggiero and Djordje Petrovic each scored their team-best fourth goals against the Bonnies, while Aleksandar Kolar recorded his third shutout with eight saves.
Cross Country
-Cleveland State will be back in action at the Joe Piane Invite hosted by Notre Dame on Friday.  
-This will be the third meet of a six-event slate for the Vikings this fall.
-Through the first two meets, Annabelle Crissman has been Cleveland State's top finisher, recording a pair of top-20 finishes.
Women's Tennis
-The Vikings will host the third annual Horizon League Individual Championship, starting on Friday in the MMTP.
-This will be the second time that Cleveland State is hosting the event, with the doubles team of Oihane Vicario and Sima Heren winning the inaugural doubles title in 2024.
Golf
-The Vikings will host their annual Tom Tontimonia Invitational on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6.
-The Tom Tontimonia Invite will be hosted at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio, and will feature a 12-team field.
-Last time out Troy Chapman paced the Vikings at the Ball State Invite, finishing T-34 at six-over par following a pair of eagles in his final two rounds of the weekend.
Men's Tennis
-The Vikings will continue their fall slate at the Penn State Invite, running Friday through Sunday.
-The duo of Tristan Stine and Nico Jamison reached the championship match, while Emil Dapcevic and Nicolas Wild earned a spot in the doubles semifinals.
-In singles, Emil Dapcevic and Nicolas Wild both advanced to the semifinals of the main draw.
Fencing
-Cleveland State will begin its first season under head coach Hector Florencia at the Ohio State Duals & Open on Saturday and Sunday.
-The Vikings have seven women and 10 men back for this year's squad.
