Ryleigh Alcala, Women's Soccer
Posted a pair of goals in Cleveland State's Horizon League opener, helping the Vikings to a 2-0 victory at Oakland.
Annabelle Crissman, Cross Country
Recorded a 16^th place finish at the All-Ohio Classic, marking Cleveland State's top finisher for the second straight meet.
Ryan Dinan, Golf
Finished T-40 at the Redhawk Intercollegiate, combining for seven birdies on the tournament.
Tom Mertz, Men's Soccer
Moved into the team lead for assists and points after helping on the tying goal against Green Bay.
 
 
 
Women's Soccer
-The Vikings will continue Horizon League play on the road this week, traveling to Youngstown State on Thursday and Robert Morris on Sunday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State opened league play with a 2-0 victory at Oakland.
-Ryleigh Alcala netted both goals for the Vikings, while Hayleigh Lewis recorded three saves.
Volleyball
-The Vikings will open Horizon League play on the road this week, traveling to Purdue Fort Wayne for a two-match series on Friday and Saturday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State closed out its non-league slate against Kent State and Akron.
-Heading into league play, Bryn VanVleet is averaging a team-best 2.64 kills per set, while Fiona Copper is averaging 9.05 assists per set and Vayda Delventhal is averaging 4.14 digs per set.
Men's Soccer
-Cleveland State plays a pair of games on the road this week, traveling to St. Bonaventure on Tuesday before heading to Milwaukee on Saturday.
-The Green & White extended its home unbeaten streak to three after drawing with Green Bay 1-1 last time out.
-Domenic Ruggiero moved into a tie for the team lead in goals with three after scoring in the 65^th minute off assists from Tom Mertz and Bora Eldem.
Cross Country
-Cleveland State will have the week off from competition, returning to action at the Joe Piane Invite hosted by Notre Dame on October 2.
-Last time out, the Vikings participated in the All-Ohio Classic hosted by Cedarville.
-Annabelle Crissman was the top Viking finisher for the second straight meet, placing 16^th with a time of 23:07.
Men's Tennis
-The Vikings will host the third annual Horizon League Fall Individual Championship Friday through Sunday inside the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
-This will mark the second time over the last three seasons that Cleveland State will serve as the host for the tournament.
-The singles and doubles champions from this weekend will get an invite to the ITA Conference Masters.
Golf
-The Vikings will continue their fall slate at the Ball State Invite on Saturday and Sunday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State placed 12^th at the Redhawk Intercollegiate, paced by Ryan Dinan who finished T-40.
-So far this season, the Vikings have tallied four top-50 individual finishes, including two from transfer Troy Chapman.
Women's Tennis
-The Vikings will have a week off before hosting the third annual Horizon League Fall Individual Championships October 2-4.
-Cleveland State kicked off the fall season with nine singles wins and four doubles wins at the WMU Betsy Kuhl Invite last time out.
-Laura Tapia has a team-best two singles wins, while Leah Geisz and Anna Mancino notched two doubles wins.
