The Vikings (1-7-0) take on Youngstown State (1-7-2) Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. on September 24^th, followed by Robert Morris on Sunday, September 27^th at 1:00 p.m.
 
Last Game Out
Cleveland State won their first game of the season against Oakland. The Green & White score their first goal of the season at the 13^th minute by Ryleigh Alcala, and then scored a second goal at the 85^th minute by Ryleigh Alcala. The Vikings outshot the Golden Grizzlies and had 10 shots on goal. Along with Hayleigh Lewis who had three saves and gained a shutout victory.

About the Penguins     
The Penguins are 1-7-2 on the year with a win against Northern Kentucky and a tie against Kent State.
Youngstown State were picked to finish third in the Horizon League, predicted to finish with 103 points. The Penguins also bring back 19 letter winners and six starters, along with 16 newcomers.
 
Senior Sara Felder returns to the squad who had eight goals last season, along with Sophomore Kamry Rosa who received Horizon League Freshman Player of the Year.

Robert Morris gained three newcomers from the transfer portal including Mercyhurst captains Fiona Fraser, and Madison Sievering, Sievering had four goals and four assists. The colonials also bring in former Viking Sophia Cucchetti.
