ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The Vikings (3-3-2) toppled St. Bonaventure (3-3-2) 2-1 behind a pair of first-half goals on Tuesday evening. Tonight was the final non-league road non-league for the Green and White.

Three minutes later,
Djordje Petrovic volleyed in a perfect cross from
Uzman Ramees to lead 2-0. The scoreline remained the same heading into the intermission.
The Bonnies ruined the shutout in the 65th minute with a penalty kick, following a missed tackle in the box. The Vikings defense then clamped down to come away with the 2-1 victory.
Ruggiero and Petrovic each have four goals on the year, tying them with each other for the team lead.
Ramees and Petrovic each finished with two shots as the team had eight in the game.
Stephen Yerian got the start in goal, picking up his first win of the year, making two saves.
Cleveland State gets back into Horizon League play with a trip to Milwaukee on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.
