Opening Whistle  
The Vikings go on the road to Akron (2-2-0) on Thursday night to take on the Zips at 6:30 pm., followed by St Bonaventure (2-2-0) on Sept. 6^th at 1:00 pm.
 
Last Game Out  
Cleveland State started a three-game road stretch with a 2-0 loss to Morehead State on Sunday. The Green & White held a 3-2 edge in shots during the first half but trailed 1-0 at the intermission. The first goal came in the 22nd minute off a through ball. Cleveland State doubled up the shot count in the second half 8-4 and overall in the game 11-6. Morehead netted the final goal in the 73rd minute after a misplay in the back.
 
About the Zips   
The Zips are even on the year, 2-2-0 and are coming off a loss to Louisville this past weekend. Akron brought back two of their lead scorers for the 2026 season Jordanne Oberhaus with four goals and four assists last year and Addison Hall with four goals. Oberhaus was selected as a Second-Team Honoree and Hall selected for the All-Fresham team for the MAC.
 
Maggie Kuhn was officially announced as the new head coach for the Akron Zips this year is her fifth year at Akron. 

Series History with Akron  
This will be the 15^th matchup between these two teams, with Akron holding a 10-4-0 record edge against the Green & White. Their last matchup was in 2024 in Akron with the Zips coming away with a 1-0 win. The last Vikings victory came in 2021 by a score of 2-1.

About The Bonnies   
The Bonnies are 2-3-0 on the year, with wins against Saint Peter's and Le Moyne and losses against Cornell, Canisius, and Niagara. The Bonnies return Hannah Lindenberger who was the teams lead scorer. The Bonnies have 17 newcomers this season to make their debut. Juliana Castellano will return in the net with a 1.33 goals against average last season.

Series History Against St. Bonaventure
This will be the ninth match up between these two teams. With Cleveland State who came out on top last season at home. The Green & White have not loss against the Bonnies in the last four match ups.
