WESTLAKE, Ohio – The Cleveland State golf team closed out play at the
Tom Tontimonia Invitational Tuesday, with
Dillon Pendergast finishing T-2 to lead the Vikings.
Pendergast entered the final few holes in the hunt for individual medalist honors after posting four birdies over the back-nine. After entering the final round at one-over par, Pendergast posted a five-under par 66 for his best round of the tournament.
Ryan Dinan and
Troy Chapman both tallied top-50 individual finishes on the tournament, Dinan finishing T-27 at seven-over par and Chapman placing T-43 at 10-over par.
Gavin Leen (69, +18) and
Dominik Cosic (T72, +20) rounded out the scoring lineup for the Vikings, while
Cameron Stafford (T65, +17) and
Jackson Sommer (85, +31) also competed for Cleveland State.
The Vikings will close out their fall slate in two weeks, taking part in the Dayton Invitational on Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20.
