Brooke Bechtel Named to 2025 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State cross country and Track & Field junior Brooke Bechtel was named to the inaugural Allstate NACDA Good Works Team for the Fall season. This honor recognizes a select group of student-athletes who are leading in their sport, in the classroom, and in communities across the country.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team is made up of 60 student-athletes (20 per season) across all sanctioned men's and women's college sports and divisions who go above and beyond in volunteerism and civic engagement, complementing their achievements in academics and sports.

ALLSTATE NACDA GOOD WORKS TEAM (FALL)

Bechtel is driven to make a positive difference, as the Berea, Ohio, native created "Women's Wednesday," which fosters connections among female athletes across all sports at Cleveland State. She also partnered with Shaker Heights City School District to establish the annual Student-Athlete Summit, helping high school athletes transition to collegiate athletics.

Bechtel's community impact extends beyond sports through her work with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where she raised over $12,000 and earned the Advocacy and Awareness Award.

Brooke thrives off building inclusive environments where all student-athletes feel supported and empowered.
