Cleveland State Men’s Basketball Adds Dayan Nessah

Cleveland, OH-Head coach Rob Summers announced the addition of Dayan Nessah as the newest member of the 2025-26 Cleveland State men's basketball team. Nessah, a 6'7" forward from Geneva, Switzerland, comes to Cleveland with three years of eligibility remaining.

"We're excited to welcome Dayan to the Cleveland State Men's Basketball family," Coach Summers said. "Dayan brings a unique blend of size, skill, and toughness that fits perfectly with our culture and style of play. His competitive edge and commitment to growth will make an important impact on our program. We're thrilled to have him in Cleveland."

Nessah joins the Cleveland State roster after one season at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He appeared in 21 total games for the Revolutionaries off the bench averaging just under seven minutes per game and shooting 50 percent from the field and 52 percent from three-point range. Nessah had a career-best 19-point outing on December 22 against UVA Wise where he finished 8-for-9 from the field in 16 minutes of action.

Nessah attended high school at Lycee Francais de Barcelone, an international school in Barcelona, Spain. He spent five seasons in the FC Barcelona Development program before moving to the United States in 2024. Nessah ranked as the no. 12 prospect in Europe and the top prospect from Switzerland in his recruiting class. He was selected to play on the Swiss U18 National Team as part of the 2024 FIBA Eurobasket B Division.

Nessah is excited to hit the ground running with the Vikings. He added, "Cleveland State never doubted me. Coach Summers and the staff believe in me, and I believe in what they're trying to do. It's really about where it feels right, and I'm feeling this one. Come support— we are building something special!"
