The Vikings open the campaign with a home game against Kent State on Thursday, August 14, before heading off to Southern Indiana (Aug. 17) and Bowling Green (Aug. 21). The month concludes with a home game versus Saint Francis on Thursday, August 28.
Following a trip to Duquesne to start September, the Green and White wrap up non-league games at home with St. Bonaventure (Sept. 7) and Morehead State (Sept. 14). The Morehead State game will see second-year head coach
Mark Sappington face his former team, and it will also be senior day.
The first two Horizon League games will be on the road at Detroit and Oakland before the Green and White host three straight contests on Krenzler Field: Youngstown State (Sept. 25), IU Indy (Sept. 28), and Milwaukee (Oct. 4).
The top six teams in the regular season standings advance to the Horizon League Tournament from November 2–8. The quarterfinal games occur at the higher-seeded place, followed by the semifinals and the championship at the regular season champions' site.
