COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team competed in its final tune-up before next weekend's Horizon League Outdoor Championship, posting a successful showing at the Jesse Owens Classic.
Madison Morris posted the Vikings' best finish on the weekend, placing second overall in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 59.41. In addition,
Tilly Nasende recorded a time of 1:02.46, placing eighth in the same event.
Grace Frye also posted a pair of top-10 finishes in field events for the Vikings, placing seventh in the Javelin (38.31) and eighth in the Shot Put (12.79).
Cleveland State will open action at the #HLTF Championships on Friday, May 9 in Youngstown, Ohio.
