Cleveland State Men’s Basketball Adds Holden Pierre-Louis

Cleveland, OH-Head coach Rob Summers has announced the newest addition to the 2025-26 Cleveland State men's basketball roster. Holden Pierre-Louis, a forward from Potomac, Maryland, joins the team with three years of eligibility remaining.

"Holden comes from a strong foundation, and he's the kind of person who will thrive in our family atmosphere," said Coach Summers. "His ability to defend and rebound will be vital to our success. He fits our mission on and off the court."

Pierre-Louis played his first collegiate season at Temple. He appeared in three total games and scored his first collegiate points on his first-ever field goal attempt against Holy Family on December 10. Pierre-Louis stands 6'8" and weighs in at 210 pounds.

Pierre-Louis played his high school basketball at St. Andrew's Episcopal outside of Potomac. He helped lead his team to back-to-back 20-win seasons in his final two years. Pierre-Louis holds the single-season blocks record at the school which he set as a senior. He is also an outstanding student as he was named to the Honor Roll during his time at St. Andrew's.

When asked why he committed to Cleveland State, Pierre-Louis said, "I chose Cleveland State because the coaches believed in me. Coach Summers has a plan to not only make the program better, but help me grow as a player too. And I'm ready to put this plan into action!"
