HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team remained perfect in Horizon League play Friday, picking up a 6-1 victory at Northern Kentucky.
All six of Cleveland State's points came during singles play, including
Lincoln Battle,
Carl Gedlitschka and
Nico Jamison who improved to 6-0 against league opponents this spring.
Battle picked up a 7-5, 6-0 victory at the top of the lineup, while Gedlitschka notched a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles and Jamison posted a 7-5, 6-1 win at the No. 4 spot.
In addition,
Cole Chappell (6-1, 6-1),
Maxime Aremon (6-3, 5-7, 1-0(9)) and
Devin Boyer (6-1, 1-1, ret.) also picked up wins at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
The Vikings will close out the weekend at IU Indy tomorrow, with first serve set for 3:00 p.m.
