CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland State Athletic Department has set a press conference to announce the conclusion of its national search to find the next leader of the CSU men's basketball program, Rob Summers, on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Wolstein Center. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the event is open to the public to attend. 
 
Media representatives are invited to shoot the event and Coach Summers will be available for one-on-one interviews immediately following the press conference. Director of Athletics Kelsie Gory Harkey will also be available for comment. 

Summers was recently announced as the 18th head coach in program history and will address supporters and media members for the first time on Friday. Summers was most recently an assistant coach on former Cleveland State head coach Dennis Gates' staff at Missouri and served as an assistant at Cleveland State alongside Gates from 2019-22.
