CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team was back in action at the Cedarville Invite Saturday, posting 17 top-10 individual finishes.

In distance events, Ana Crangle paced the Vikings with a first place finish in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase, posting a program-record time of 10:59.56. Natalie Keller also posted a top-five finish in the 5000 Meter Run, placing fifth overall with a time of 18:02.69.

The Vikings posted four top-10 finishes in sprint events on Saturday, including a runner-up showing from Trinity Lamp in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.45. Madison Luthy finished fourth in the 100 Hurdles (14.67), while Olivia Todd placed fourth in the 400 Meter Hurdles (1:04.53) and Tilly Nasende recorded an eighth place finish in the 400 Meter Dash (59.58).

Cleveland State recorded a pair of wins in field events on the day, with Madison Luthy winning the Long Jump (5.46) and Grace Frye winning the Javelin (38.30). In addition, Chloe Amoroso placed second in the Triple Jump (10.42), while Frye also placed fifth in the Hammer (49.08) to round out the top-five field finishes.

The Vikings will continue the outdoor campaign with the Cherry Blossom Invite (Friday, April 4) and Oakland Invite (Saturday, April 5) next weekend.
