DeLAND, Fla. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team wrapped up its annual Spring Break trip down south Friday, dropping a 5-2 contest at Stetson.
The Vikings were once again able to pick up the early doubles point, earning wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.
Lincoln Battle and
Devin Boyer posted a 7-5 win at the top of the lineup, while
Nico Jamison and
Maxime Aremon earned a 7-6(4) victory at No. 3 doubles.
Cole Chappell picked up Cleveland State's other point on the day, as he earned a 6-3, 6-7, 1-0(8) victory at No. 3 singles.
Cleveland State will return home next weekend, opening Horizon League play by hosting Northern Kentucky on Saturday, March 22 and IU Indy on Sunday, March 23.
