CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will open the 2025 outdoor season this weekend, competing at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.
This weekend's meet will be the first of 10 outdoor events for the Vikings this season, with the outdoor campaign culminating at the 2025 #HLTF Outdoor Championships May 9-11.
On Friday, field events are slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. with running events set to start at 2:00 p.m. For Saturday, field events will once again start at 10:00 a.m., while running events will begin at 10:30 a.m.

This will be Cleveland State's first return to the track since the 2025 #HLTF Indoor Championships, where the Vikings recorded seven individual podium finishes, including a pair of third place showings from
Grace Frye in the Weight Throw and Shot Put.
