Clinton, SC-The Cleveland State softball team is set for its third weekend tournament of the 2025 season as the Vikings head south to the Scotsman Invitational hosted by Presbyterian College.
 
The schedule has been updated and will see the Vikings play four total games with two scheduled for Friday and two on Saturday. Cleveland State will take on Monmouth and Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday with games against Valparaiso and the host Presbyterian set for Saturday.
 
The Vikings played nine total games in Florida over the first two weeks of the season. Cleveland State finished 1-8 and will be looking to improve as Horizon League play is set to begin in mid-March. The Vikings were picked to win the league in the annual preseason poll after winning the Horizon League Tournament title last spring.
