Jacksonville, FL-The Cleveland State softball team continues its trip through the State of Florida to open the 2025 season this weekend. The Vikings will play five total games as part of the JU/UNF Invitational hosted by Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida.

The Vikings competed last week at The Spring Games in Leesburg, opening the season with a 1-4 start in the five-game tournament. Cleveland State claimed its first victory of the season defeating Radford 7-1 in its second game.

The Vikings will take on Jacksonville and North Florida two times each, with the fifth and final game against the University of Connecticut.

Action begins on Friday with the first game of the day scheduled for 2:00 p.m. against Jacksonville. Live stats will be available for all games of the tournament, however no live stream will be available. Recaps will be posted on csuvikings.com at the conclusion of each day.
