MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Cleveland State women's basketball team picked up its 18
th win of the season Saturday, earning an 89-81 victory at Milwaukee. With the win, the Vikings are now 18-5 on the year and 9-3 in league play.

The Game
After playing an even first half and going into the halftime break with the score knotted at 44-44, the Vikings opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run, with back-to-back three-pointers from
Macey Fegan and
Mickayla Perdue giving the Vikings an eight point advantage at 54-46 just over three minutes into the frame. Although a Milwaukee basket on their next possession stopped the CSU run,
Destiny Leo responded with another three-pointer to put the score at 57-48 midway through the quarter.
The two teams then traded baskets over the final part of the frame, with Cleveland State taking a 64-59 lead into the final 10 minutes of action.
The Cleveland State three-point trend continued into the fourth quarter then, as
Grace Ellis put the Vikings up 67-59 with a three-pointer just 14 seconds into the frame. CSU then extended its lead midway through the quarter, as a 10-0 scoring run from the Vikings put Cleveland State up 77-61 at the 5:51 mark on a
Jordana Reisma layup.
The two teams then traded baskets throughout the final part of the quarter, with the Vikings holding a double-digit lead through most of the frame, holding off a late Panther run that put the final score at 89-81 Cleveland State.
