INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State women's soccer had two players earn #HLWSOC All-League honors:
Mayra Sesmas was named to the Second Team, and
Maria Bashardoust was named to the Third Team.
MAYRA SESMAS | MF | SENIOR | SECOND TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Sesmas earned a spot on the All-League Second Team after finishing the season with a team-best three assists. The Athens, Georgia, native was second on the team in points (10) and third in goals (3).
Sesmas leaves the Vikings with her name etched into the record books: fourth in goals (15), ninth in assists (8), and fourth in points (38). She also received her first-ever Horizon League All-Academic award.
MARIA BASHARDOUST | D | GRADUATE | THIRD TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Bashardoust played her sixth season in the Green and White and served as one of the team captains. The Loveland, Ohio, native received Third Team All-League honors for the first time in her career.
Bashardoust started every game on the backline and leaves Cleveland State after playing in 76 career games, which is the fourth most in program history.
