INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Mayra Sesmas was named to the 2025 Horizon League Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Sesmas earned All-Academic recognition for the first time in her career. The Athens, Georgia, native will graduate this spring with a degree in journalism and promotional communications. She carries a 3.85 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List five times and the President's List twice.

On the field, Sesmas led the Vikings in assists (3) and points (9), while ranking second on the team in goals with two. In the career record books, she ranks fourth in goals with 15 and fifth in total points with 37.
