GENEVA, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team continued its indoor campaign Saturday, competing at the Spire Midwest Invitational.

In field events, Grace Frye paced the Vikings with a pair of first place finishes in the Weight Throw (16.95) and Shot Put (12.68), while Jaylynn King recorded a third place finish in the Weight Throw (15.33) and Zuriah Radeff-Koonce added a fifth place finish in the Shot Put (11.97).

Cleveland State had a trio of top-15 finishes in distance events, led by Ana Crangle in the Mile (7^th-5:12.79). Natalie Keller also recorded a top-15 finish in the Mile (11^th-5:16.31), while Crangle also finished 13^th in the 800 Meter Run (2:24.28).

In sprint events, three Vikings qualified for the 60 Meter Dash and 60 Meter Hurdles finals, with Emma Sanders placing ninth in the 60 (8.08) and Trinity Lamp (6^th-9.26) and Olivia Todd (10^th-9.38) both advancing to the 60 Meter Hurdles finals.

Cleveland State had three teams competing in the 4x400 Meter Relay, including the quartet of Madison Luthy, Lamp, Todd, and Sanders placing second overall with a time of 4:01.36.

The Vikings will be back in action next Saturday at the Wittenberg Steemer Invite.
