CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will open its 2024 fall campaign this weekend, participating in the Princess Hotels College Cup Wednesday, September 18 through Friday, September 20.
This week's tournament will be the first of four events for the Vikings this fall, including their annual Viking Invitational (October 18-20) and the inaugural Horizon League Individual Championships (October 4-6).
The Princess Hotels College Cup will be a three-day tournament with singles and doubles played each day. The Vikings will be one of three teams competing this weekend, joining Wyoming and Southeastern.

Included in this returning core is reigning Horizon League Player of the Year Oihane Vicario and All-League honorees Sima Heren and Tereze Vevere.
Joining the Vikings for the 2024-25 campaign will be a pair of true freshmen, Jenna Redmile and Melliz Petkova Mustafa.
Cleveland State will be under the direction of Frank Polito who is entering his seventh season at the helm and 13th season overall with the program.
