CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will open its Horizon League slate this weekend, traveling to Youngstown State on Saturday, March 28.

Saturday's match will kickoff a five-match #HLTennis slate for the Vikings, including just two matches at home in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
Earlier this season, Cleveland State was selected to finish fourth in the Horizon League Preseason Poll, picking up 18 points in the competitive six-team field.
The Vikings are in the midst of a three-match roadswing, which includes contests at Xavier, YSU and Milwaukee.
Entering the weekend, three Vikings have double-digit singles wins on the year, with
Ella Franz and
Leah Geisz owning a team-best 12 wins, while
Jenna Redmile has 11.
In doubles, Franz and
Melliz Petkova Mustafa have a team-best 11 wins, while
Anna Mancino and Geisz own a team-best eight wins this spring.
