GENEVA, Ohio - The Cleveland State track & field team continued its indoor slate Saturday, competing at the Spire Indoor Games.

Cleveland State's top finishes came in the field events, as Grace Frye placed seventh in the Shot Put (13.14) and 11th in the Weight Throw (14.91).

In distance events, Ana Crangle paced the Vikings with an 11th place showing in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 10:36.32, while Brooke Bechtel placed 10th in her respective section of the 3000 Meter Run posting a time of 11:16.75.

Madison Morris recorded Cleveland State's top sprint finish on the day, placing eighth in the 300 Meter Dash with a time of 43.21, while Leah Hoover finished ninth in the same race (43.58).

The quartet of Hoover, Sophia Pomnean, Jillian McArdle, and Savannah Shaver posted a time of 4:16.58 in the 4x400 Meter Relay to place 15th overall.

Cleveland State's final tune-up before the 2024 #HLTF Indoor Championships will be the Ashland Last Chance Meet next Saturday, February 17.
