CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State women's basketball head coach
Chris Kielsmeier has announced the addition of
Hanna Medina Kajevic (Norrköping, Sweden) for the 2025-26 season.
Kajevic will join the Vikings in the fall of 2025 with four years of eligibility remaining.
"We are excited for Hanna to call Cleveland State home!" said Kielsmeier. "She is an aggressive and physical playmaker who fits our style of play, and has great experience at the international levels. Hanna is a true competitor with a passion for the game of basketball, and we are looking forward to her wearing the Green & White."
Kajevic, a 5-7 guard, has attended Hagagymnasiet High School in Norrköping, Sweden while also playing for the Norrköping Dolphins. The Dolphins are part of the Svenska Basketligan – the highest league in Sweden – with Kajevic making her debut with the club when she was 17 years old.
Kajevic has also represented Sweden at the U16 and U18 FIBA European Championships and Eurobasket in 2022, 20223 and 2024. During those three tournaments, she averaged 11.0 points and 3.0 assists per game.
Among all players at the 2024 U18 FIBA Eurobasket, Kajevic ranked second in free throws attempted.
