FAIRBORN, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team continued Horizon League play with its first #HLVB roadtrip of the season, dropping a 3-0 contest at league-leading Wright State. With the loss, the Vikings are now 11-4 on the season, and 2-2 in league play.
Nia Hall led the Viking offense with 10 kills, while
JeriLynn Koehler and
Liberty Torres both added six kills each.
Defensively,
Emma Walker had a team-best 16 digs, while
Lesley Marshall added 10.
Torres tallied a team-high three blocks, while Koehler and
Allana Appleby both notched two.
With her 16 digs on the night, Walker moved into fourth place in the CSU Career Record Book, ending the match with 1,407 total digs as one of just five Vikings all-time with 1,400+ digs on their career.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow, with first serve set for 2:00 p.m. in Fairborn, Ohio.
