CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team opened its weekend series against Purdue Fort Wayne Friday, dropping a 3-0 contest against the Mastodons. The Vikings now stand at 13-6 overall this season and 4-4 in Horizon League play.
Nia Hall led the Viking offense with eight kills, while
Liberty Torres posted seven and
JeriLynn Koehler and
Chloe List both added four.
Ella Mihacevich finished with 24 assists, seven digs and three blocks.
Defensively,
Emma Walker and
Reilly Wadden both posted nine digs on the match, while Koehler and
Julia Jozefov finished with three blocks each.
With her nine digs on the night, Walker moved into third place in the CSU Career Record Book, finishing with 1,483 digs.
The Vikings will wrap up their two-match series against Purdue Fort Wayne tomorrow, with first serve set for 2:00 p.m.
