OBERLIN, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team opened the Oberlin Invitational Friday, competing in the Javelin, High Jump and 5,000 Meter Run.
Ariana Coats led the Vikings on Friday, finishing third in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 19:08.29, while Hannah Korte (19:18.19) and Kiannah Sarver (19:48.60) recorded top-five finishes, and Madeline Nacci finished seventh overall (20:40.81).
Allison Pankow notched a seventh place finish in the Javelin on Friday, posting a mark of 25.78.
The Vikings were also represented in the High Jump, with Jillian McArdle placing 13th with a mark of 1.35.
Cleveland State will return to action tomorrow with Day Two of the Oberlin Invitational.
