Cleveland, OH-Tyler Spratt is the newest member of the Cleveland State men's basketball team, Head Coach Daniyal Robinson announced today. Spratt is the first member of the 2023-24 recruiting class to sign his letter of intent.
"We are excited today to announce the signing of Tyler Spratt," said Coach Robinson. "Tyler is a proven winner from his time at North Farmington. Tyler comes from a great family and is a standout student and all-around person. He is all of 6'5" with a 6'11" wingspan. His versatility on both ends of the floor, and ability to shoot the ball will be a huge reason for his success here at CSU. We welcome Tyler, his parents Antonio and Dee Spratt, and entire family to Cleveland State and can't wait for what is ahead."
Spratt was a standout at North Farmington High School, finishing as an all-league performer and an all-state honorable mention honoree his senior year. He helped lead North Farmington to an OAA Red conference championship last season, as well as back-to-back MHSAA district championships.
"Cleveland State is not only getting a great player with a huge upside, but a great kid," said North Farmington Varsity Coach Todd Negoshian. "The basketball speaks for itself with his accomplishments, but his character on and off the floor is who he truly is and CSU is getting a great one!"
Spratt is joined by his parents Antonio and Dalene Spratt. He has four siblings; sisters Kennedy and Destini Bailey, and brothers Justin Beard and Christopher Zeigler.
