Cleveland State Women's Soccer Shutout by Northern Kentucky, 1-0

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Cleveland State (3-8-3, 0-4-3) was shutout by Northern Kentucky (5-3-6, 2-2-3) on Sunday afternoon, 1-0.

The first half went scoreless as the Norse held a 9-2 advantage in shots.

Northern Kentucky netted the lone goal in the 47th minute as Kylie Anderson headed in a cross from Lilly Yordy to win 1-0.

The Norse held a 20-3 edge in shots and took ten corners, compared to zero for the Vikings.

Cleveland State had just one shot on goal by Lina Feltovich. Mayra Sesmas and Erica Leinweber had the other shots. Liv Fain made six saves in goal.

The Green and White welcome Robert Morris to Krenzler Field on Thursday, Oct. 12 for a 7 p.m. matchup.
