WOOSTER, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team opened its 2022 slate Thursday evening, participating in the Wooster Invitational.
Senior Hannah Korte paced the Vikings Thursday evening, finishing the 4K course in a time of 16:45. Ariana Coats was the next Viking to finish, posting a time of 17:02.
The newcomer duo of Madeline Crissman and Madeleine Nacci were the next two Vikings to finish, freshman Crissman posting a time of 17:18 and graduate transfer Nacci recording a time of 17:51.
Emily Nemeth crossed the finish line in 18:18 as the next Viking to finish, while freshmen Ana Crangle notched a 4K time of 18:57, and Melanie Ortiz posted a time of 23:59.
Cleveland State will return to action at the Tommy Titan Invite next Saturday (September 10), with the women's 5K slated for an 11:05 a.m. start.
