MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Cleveland State track & field team wrapped up action at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational Saturday, marking the end of their first outdoor meet of the 2022 campaign.
Margaret Smith posted Cleveland State's top finish of the day, placing ninth overall in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:25.72. Savannah Shaver also represented the Vikings in the 800 Meter Run, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:36.91.
Dynesty Ervin placed 15th overall in the 200 Meter Dash for the Vikings, posting a time of 25.59.
Cleveland State also competed in the 4x400 Meter Relay, placing 11th overall with a time of 4:14.35.
The Vikings will return to action next weekend, participating in the Cedarville Invite on Saturday, March 26.
