ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Cleveland State cross country team returned to action at the #HLXC Championships Saturday, competing in their sixth race of the 2022 campaign.

For the fifth time this season the Vikings were paced by senior Hannah Korte, who posted a 6K time of 24:55 in Saturday's championship race.

Ariana Coats was the next Viking to finish with a time of 25:10, marking the sixth time this season that she was one of Cleveland State's top-three finishers. Kiannah Sarver (25:19) and Ana Crangle (25:21) were the next Vikings to cross the finish line, while Madeline Crissman (25:48) was the fifth Viking to finish.

The trio of Madelynn Madison (26:08), Emily Nemeth (26:30) and Madeleine Nacci (28:10) rounded out the competitors for Cleveland State.

Cleveland State will close out the 2022 campaign at the NCAA Regionals, with the women's race slated for Friday, November 11.
