BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team returned to action at the Falcon Invite Friday, participating in its first 6K of the 2022 campaign.

For the fourth time this season the Vikings were paced by Hannah Korte, who crossed the finish line in a time of 24:04.

Kiannah Sarver was the next Viking to finish, as she posted a 6K time of 24:15, while Ariana Coats posted a time of 25:15, marking the fifth time this season that she has been one of Cleveland State's top three finishers.

The duo of Madelynn Madison and Savannah Shaver rounded out Cleveland State's runners, Madison posting a time of 28:10 and Shaver finishing in 28:18.

Cleveland State will now have a few weeks off from competition, returning to action at the 2022 #HLXC Championships on Saturday, October 29.
