Vikings Earn Another Podium Finish At #HLTF Indoor Championships

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Cleveland State track and field senior Tylar Mixon led the way for the Vikings on Day Three of the 2021 Horizon League Indoor Championships, as she recorded a sixth place finish in the 60 Meter Dash as Cleveland State's second podium finisher of the weekend.

Mixon recorded Cleveland State's second podium finish in as many days, as she placed sixth overall in the 60 Meter Dash finals with a season-best time of 7.82.

Savannah Shaver also competed in a final for the Vikings on Sunday, as she posted a time of 5:38.39 in the Mile.

Cleveland State's final event on the third day of the #HLTF Indoor Championships was the 200 Meter Dash prelims, with Mixon pacing the Vikings with a season-best time of 26.09. Zoe Dellaserra (26.90) and Lauren Zawie (27.62) also competed in the 200 prelims.

Tomorrow (Monday, March 1) will be the final day of the 2021 Horizon League Indoor Championships, with the Vikings competing in the Pole Vault, 3,000 Meter Run, and 4x400 Meter Relay.
