KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team opened play at the WMU/Vredevelt Invite Saturday, with Austin Staiger and JuandeDios Abboud both picking up singles wins.

Staiger and Abboud both picked up their singles wins against Chicago State, Staiger earning a 7-5, 6-3 victory and Abboud posting a 6-4, 6-3 win.

Saturday's wins gave Abboud a 3-1 record on the year, while Staiger is now 3-2 in singles play this season.

The Vikings will wrap up action at the WMU/Vredevelt Invite tomorrow (Sunday, October 10).
