Track & Field Opens Doug Raymond Invitational

KENT, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team opened the Doug Raymond Invitational Friday, competing in a pair of running events and a pair of field events.

Monica Johnson led the Vikings in the 60 Meter Hurdles, as she posted a time of 8.97 in the prelims to advance to the finals, where she finished sixth with a time of 8.86.

Cleveland State had five competitors in the 200 Meter Dash, led by Azsah Bradley who finished eighth overall with a time of 25.55.

In field events, the Vikings were represented in the Pole Vault and Long Jump, with Kaelin Stahl placing third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.30, while Julianne Dorothal finished 21st with a mark of 4.80 in the long jump.

The Vikings will continue action at the Doug Raymond Invitational tomorrow (Saturday, February 15), with field events beginning at 11:00 a.m. and running events starting at 12:00 p.m.
