MADISON, Wis. – The Cleveland State cross country team closed out the 2019 season Friday afternoon, competing in the Great Lakes Regional. 

The Vikings were represented by Anna Brandt, Hannah Korte, Olivia Hammons, Heather McArdle, Zoe Lexovsky, and Haley Rozeski in the final race of the year, with the trio of Brandt, Korte and Hammons once again leading the pack.

Brandt paced the Vikings with a 22:49 6K time, while Korte crossed the finish line in 23:51 and Hammons recorded a time of 24:08. This trio represented Cleveland State's top three finishers in five of the six races this season. 

The next Viking to cross the finish line was McArdle who posted a 6K time of 24:58, while Lexovsky recorded a time of 25:26 and Rozeski crossed the finish line in 26:48.

Friday's race marked the sixth and final race of the 2019 campaign.
