BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team continued its busy outdoor season Saturday, participating in the Sparky Adams Invitational at Baldwin Wallace.

The Vikings recorded a pair of runner-up finishes in the 100 and 200 Meter Dash events, with Chan'lier Myers finishing the 100 Meter Dash in 12.45, and Lauren Zawie finishing the 200 Meter Dash in 26.12.

Myers and Zawie were also part of the winning 4x100 Meter Relay team, as they teamed with Tylar Mixon and Hannah Gaskins to place first with a time of 48.45.

Rachel Wenzel recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in field events for the Vikings, placing second in the High Jump with a mark of 1.52 and ninth in the Long Jump with a mark of 4.94.

The Vikings will have one more tune-up before the Horizon League Championship next weekend, taking part in the Ashland Alumni Open on Saturday, April 28.
